This session is designed to equip educators and counsellors with practical strategies to foster strong, collaborative relationships with parents. Through a three-part interactive workshop, participants will learn effective ways to plan, implement, reflect on and improve parental relationships. If you want to know more about planning parental engagement, developing communication strategies and assessing the impact of your engagement activities, then this is the workshop for you.

The roadmap follows these themes:

2. Hit the road
3. Bring it home

The learning objectives are:
1. Explore the methods and approaches to plan and initiate parent engagement.
2. Develop an understanding of the variety of different types of meaningful interactions.
3. Recognise the broader impact of evaluating the success of parent engagement.
